Academy mourns the passing of Donald Aker Jr.

It is with deep sadness that the Academy mourns the passing of Donald Aker. Don had over 23 years of public safety experience. Don held the position of Training Supervisor at Prince George's County Public Safety Communications Center, Maryland, USA. He was the President of the Kentland Volunteer Fire Department in Prince George's County, a Senior EFD Instructor/ ETC Instructor, and an active member of the EFD Council of Standards for IAED. Don was instrumental in assisting the Prince George's County 911 center to become the 5th center in the world to receive triple ACE from the IAED.
